Grant Hyde is an author and former rugby league player whose career has crossed sport, fitness and storytelling. He played for the Eastern Suburbs Roosters before moving into other work. A project in Tonga helped develop his interest in Pacific history, which informed his first novel, Lords of the Pacific. His experience also includes rugby league coaching and personal training.
