He plays piano for roughly three quarters of a set and guitar for the rest, singing jazz, ballads, love songs, Great American Songbook material, R&B and classic hits. The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Bread, Corinne Bailey Rae, The Carpenters, Norah Jones, Burt Bacharach and Coldplay all turn up. He's not the person to get a dance floor going and he says so. What he does instead is build atmosphere, which is what a jazz bar, a piano bar, a hotel lobby or a restaurant actually needs. He'll play a good grand piano if there is one and bring his own keyboard if there isn't, along with a PA that suits smaller rooms.
