Griffin County come out of the Scenic Rim, west of the Gold Coast, and they play country rock with the rock turned up. The band is built from players who have done the rounds, and the live show is where they put their effort. Think country storytelling delivered at party volume rather than a quiet listening set. That combination suits regional pubs, shows and functions where the crowd spans a few generations and everyone wants the same songs. Brisbane and the surrounding country towns are their usual patch.
