Growing leadership in edgy places

Haydn spent more than 30 years in regulatory and enforcement work as a police officer and Border Force officer, covering intelligence analysis, emergency operations management, and learning and development, including a year in Papua New Guinea. He's a volunteer firefighter with the SA Country Fire Service and has deployed to Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales for major bushfire emergencies, including Kangaroo Island in January 2020. He's a PhD candidate at Griffith University and a 2020 Churchill Fellow, and he'll tell you he struggled to find any meaning in school. That's the point. His talks land particularly well with young men who can't yet see why formal learning matters. Presentations run from 20 to 90 minutes, any audience size. Every fee he's paid goes to the SA CFS Hermitage Brigade as a fundraiser.
