Gumpy sings and plays guitar, Katie Richards sings and plays drums, and together as SAVIDAS they've landed on a sound nobody quite has a name for. Roots, reggae, folk and funk get melded into something original enough that people have resorted to calling it bluegrass hip hop. Cairns based. Old school rhythms under new ideas, and the boundaries get pushed rather than politely acknowledged.
