Hardland

The Hardland Blues Folk Trio is Michele Callan on powerhouse vocals, Ashley Thompson on haunting harmonica and harmonies, and Bruce McKail on blues based guitar. They play their own favourite songs, drawn from the Rolling Stones, Big Bill Broonzy, Bonnie Raitt and Bob Dylan among others, mostly grungier numbers from the 60s through to the 80s. Harmonica and harmony singing over blues guitar is a warm, old fashioned combination, and these three have the experience to make it work. Expect tapping feet and a fair bit of singing along.
