About this act
Double Dutch is skipping rope taken to an extreme, and HARIBOW are a team from Japan who do it at speed. The show combines synchronised rope work, acrobatics and dance, held together by tight timing between performers. A set runs roughly three to six minutes, built as an opening skipping sequence, a run of tricks, a segment with the audience, then a big finish. Multiple sets across a day can be arranged, along with meet and greets or a workshop. They need a flat non-slip stage of around five by five metres, a way to play music, and half an hour on the stage beforehand to warm up. Festivals and corporate stages suit them best.
