Janice Preece performs on a full sized concert harp, which is a considerable thing to have in a room before a note is played. Her repertoire spans classical, light jazz, Celtic and popular music, from Pachelbel's Canon in D and Bach's Air On A G String through to the Bridal Chorus and Ave Maria. She's one of Queensland's most experienced harpists and covers Brisbane, Ipswich, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. For bigger functions she can put together ensembles: flute and harp, cello and harp, violin and harp, or a trio adding cello. She needs a performance area of about two metres by one, and shade if she's playing outdoors. Public liability insurance is held.
