Hazy Recollection
Based in Perth
About this act
Five players, Perth based, and a set list that runs Eagle Rock into Immigrant Song without blinking. Hazy Recollection are a covers band built out of long careers: Peter Dunn on keys, guitar and backing vocals, brought over from the Liverpool music scene; Koichi Kusunose on lead vocals; Andy McIntyre on lead guitar; Tim Thornton on drums and backing vocals; and Colin Hay on bass and backing vocals, whose playing goes back to inner Sydney in the 1970s. The repertoire stretches from the sixties through to now, heavy on the songs that get people off their chairs. Copperhead Road, Don't Change, Evie, Fortunate Son, Jump. A stage helps if you have one, but it isn't essential.
