About this act
Helen is a Brisbane singer and songwriter who came up through opera and music theatre, then built her own style out of pop, rock, jazz and EDM. Her debut EP, You're The One, landed in 2012 and she has been growing an audience at home and overseas since. She works mostly solo, though a full band and a duo with guitarist Steve both get outings around Brisbane and up on the Gold Coast, at major venues and events and in smaller cafes and bars. Alongside her own material she plays easy listening covers from jazz to top 40, and will sing classically at weddings on request. She is an AMRAP Airit artist, accepted in 2015 and again in 2017, a full writer member of APRA, and heads up Song and Dance at The Performing Arts Conservatory.
