Todd James

Todd James got into electronic dance music on Sydney dance floors in the late 90s, starting with a crate of vinyl and a pair of turntables and learning to blend two records properly. That took him to venues in Bali, around the Shoalhaven, and to The Beach Hotel at Byron Bay. Fourteen years on, the job is mostly about reading a room and picking the next track on instinct rather than running a locked playlist. House parties, birthdays, school functions, corporate nights, weddings and bar gigs all sit in his history. Based at East Ballina on the far north coast of New South Wales.
