High Hat is a classically trained pianist as well as a DJ, and she feels a room before she plays to it. The sets are a quirky cocktail: melodic vocals and keys, disco, 70s and 80s, acid house, soulful house, Afro boogie, funky basslines and a good deal of fun. Downtempo and disco are the devotions. Sydney based. Theatrical, eccentric and thoroughly herself, which makes her a more interesting booking than a straight club DJ.
