Highway Men
Based in Brisbane
About this act
Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson wrote a lot of songs between them, and this Brisbane show takes on around forty of them. Silver Stallion, Live Forever and The Highwayman sit alongside the individual classics, so you also get Luckenbach Texas, On The Road Again, Folsom Prison Blues, Ring Of Fire and Help Me Make It Through The Night. The band bring pedal steel, banjo, mandolin, fiddle and harmonica as well as the usual guitars and drums, and the staging goes as far as the desert backdrop and the rifle coats. Out for private functions, venues, corporate events, concerts and festivals.
