Hillsborough have been playing their own brand of country and blues at bars and festivals around Australia since 2016. Phil Usher and Beata Maglai came to it after years of live venues and festivals around the world, sharing stages with a genuinely strange assortment of artists, from Regurgitator to Tina Arena and plenty in between. The Australian described an epic, cinematic sweep to much of their material and called the debut Comin' Back For You precociously confident. Brisbane based, and the songs have real scope to them.
