Hot Caravan places live musicians around a campfire-style circus setting. Violin, accordion and guitar are among the instruments accompanying dance and fire routines. The show moves through flamenco, tango and burlesque influences, with partner balance and fire manipulation also featured. Music and physical performance develop together in a theatrical programme built around the travelling-party concept.
