Hound Dog Swagger

Acoustic and hollow body electric guitars, a stomp box under one foot, and a swampy blues-rock sound that sits somewhere between a back porch and a pub stage. Hound Dog Swagger works out of Toowoomba and plays solo, as a duo, or with a three piece behind him. The set mixes originals with covers, and the covers lean into the same territory: blues, funk, bluegrass, straight rock from the 60s through the 90s. It's a singer-songwriter's setup used for a room full of people rather than a quiet listening crowd. Good fit for pubs, clubs and parties around the Darling Downs where you want live guitar rather than a backing track.
