House Of Refuge

Four blokes from Newcastle who got together in 2020 and have been making a racket ever since. House Of Refuge play independent alternative rock with the amps up: think the Aussie edge of Bad//Dreems, Midnight Oil and Spy V Spy, the riffs of Queens of the Stone Age, the groove of Wolfmother and the Chili Peppers, plus a bit of Celibate Rifles and Frenzal Rhomb attitude. They've played plenty of local shows around the Newcastle region and supported The Screaming Jets, Spy V Spy and Lime Spiders. Their music's been described as high energy earworm songs. The set is originals, which makes them a pub, festival and live-music-venue booking rather than a covers act.
