About this act
Hush got their name from the way they sound: two experienced guitarists and a female vocalist, playing gently and letting a room keep talking. The trio formed in January 2009 around Perth. They take current chart songs and older favourites and rework them into something calmer, so The Fear, Poker Face and Womanizer turn up in unexpected shapes, along with reworkings of Take On Me and Video Killed the Radio Star. It's a modern feel at a conversational volume. Good for cafes, restaurants, Sunday sessions, wedding ceremonies, corporate functions and festivals where the mood needs to stay relaxed.
