Saxophone one minute, guitar the next, then a loop pedal and a drum machine and suddenly there's a whole band coming out of two people. That's Isaac "IZAK" Scott, who sings, raps and beatboxes over his own live sampling and synths. Umalicious sits alongside him on vocals, percussion and drums, and picks up MC duties when the room needs a voice steering it. The Cairns duo write their own material and cover plenty of current songs too, and they've taken it around Australia and overseas. Cafe gigs, festival stages, small rooms, big crowds: they'll pitch it chilled and acoustic or push it into dance and club territory, depending on what the night wants.
