Immerse Duo is Perth singer Owen Measday and guitarist Todd Byrom-Carter, playing jazz, blues and soul with a compact acoustic feel. The pair have worked together for years at local venues including The Ellington Jazz Club, The Laneway Lounge and Bistro Felix, with performances in New York City also part of their history. Their song choices draw from Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, Aloe Blacc and Amy Winehouse. That gives the set room to move between soul phrasing, blues guitar and more recent material. Immerse can stay as a duo or expand to a 5 piece band when the event calls for a fuller rhythm section.
