Imogen Pinelli

Imogen Pinelli writes out of the southwest of Western Australia, and the landscape down there gets into the songs. Her roots are in folk, rock and grunge, and her voice is assertive where the lyrics are contemplative. Grief, love, purpose: she circles those without ever getting maudlin about it, and the songs land somewhere between vulnerable and defiant. Nostalgic in places, optimistic in others. Based in Bunbury, she performs solo with guitar and vocals, playing originals alongside covers.
