A Queensland based jazz singer and teacher whose CV runs a long way past this state. Ingrid James has sung on national television, and shared stages with the Queensland Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras at the performing arts centres in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. London has seen her at Ronnie Scott's, the 606 Club, Pizza Express Jazz Club and Spice of Life, with more dates through France, Monaco and Prague. She holds a chair in the 19 piece Brisbane Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, led by David Humphreys, and works alongside Louise Denson on their Wild Silk Strings Project. Book her as a duo, trio, quartet or quintet for corporate nights, cocktail functions, concerts and festivals. Awards have followed.
