A cocoon opens into a singing butterfly in this 20-minute show combining opera and stilt dance. Soprano Stephanie Acraman performs among garden characters, acrobatic bugs and flowers. Designed for family audiences, Lady Butterfly can play indoors or outside at festivals, venue openings and theatre programmes. The production needs a level performance area of about ten by eight metres, five metres of clearance and a PA system with an operator.
