One Skin builds its performances around African, Latin American and Middle Eastern percussion. Djembe and dun dun drums sit alongside congas, darabouka and smaller hand percussion. Dancers working in African, Middle Eastern or samba styles can join the musicians, while calls, chants and bells bring listeners into the rhythm.
