Movida adds live saxophone, percussion and vocals to a DJ-based sound. Created by Sydney musician Paul Chenard, the act draws on his background as a saxophonist, producer and DJ. Electronic grooves provide the foundation while the live players add their own phrasing and rhythm, building a set aimed at dancing.
