About this act
Eight pieces, stage dancers and routines, and tempos sitting anywhere between 140 and 220 beats per minute. That range is deliberate: it gives the band scope for different swing styles and Balboa across material from the 1930s through to the Copacabana era crooners. The show is pitched as a visit to Harlem in the swing years, and part of the job is showing a room how to move to it. The dance itself has never really gone away. Booked for themed nights, corporate events, private functions, weddings and venue bookings.
