Brazilian rhythms, deep funk grooves and drum and bass, all inside the one set. Iverson Dela Cruz moves between them rather than settling into a lane, and those three styles turn out to have more in common than the labels suggest once somebody stitches them together properly. It takes a fair bit of confidence to build a night that way. The payoff is a set that goes places a single genre never could, and a crowd that has not heard this particular combination anywhere else.
