Jack Willis comes from Windang, a working class suburb south of Wollongong with a big surfing culture, and that upbringing shapes the writing. The sound is folk and country, soothing on the surface with a rougher edge underneath and lyrics drawn from ordinary life. He is working towards a debut album and has locked in his first headline tour around Australia. His single I'm Gonna Live is out now.
