James Morrison plays trumpet and a range of other instruments, including trombone, saxophone and piano. His jazz career has included performances with Dizzy Gillespie, B.B. King and Wynton Marsalis, alongside recording and composing.
James composed and performed the opening fanfare for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. His other work includes film scores, Royal Command performances and the book Blowing My Own Trumpet, which shares stories from his life in music.
