James Pattugalan

James Pattugalan came out of the Canberra School of Music with a Diploma in Jazz Studies, and he's used it widely. Drums and percussion across jazz and big band, salsa, funk, soul blues, hip hop soul and contemporary R&B, plus African rhythms and quieter easy listening work. So he can sit deep in a funk pocket, swing hard in a jazz group, or bring genuine percussion texture to a world music collaboration. Byron Bay based.
