James Rochford

A comedy producer turned on-screen performer, James built a career behind the camera before stepping in front of it. After graduating from Macquarie University in 2001, the career began at FOX SPORTS producing rugby union and golf coverage, then moved to Channel Nine's The Footy Show as a comedy producer, where segment work included the popular Beau Knows series. A return to FOX SPORTS led to producing Fletch and Hindy, a segment on Monday Night with Matty Johns, before stepping into performing as The Professor from 2016. That character-led role grew into its own dedicated show, while Not the NRL News moved to The Late Show with Matty Johns.
