James Sandon

James Sandon is a Brisbane saxophonist and educator with a jazz performance degree from WAAPA and a D'Addario artist endorsement. He's performed with Billy Cobham, Chris Potter and Ernie Watts, and toured through Australasia, Asia and North America. He also recorded with the Grammy-nominated Nnenna Freelon, and lectures in contemporary performance at the Queensland Conservatorium. Still very active in the Australian jazz scene, and that combination of teaching and touring tends to produce a player with no weak spots.
