Jamie the Clown

Jamie the Clown is the bumbling sort, the kind kids yell corrections at, and that's exactly the point. The stage show runs 45 minutes or splits into two 25 minute halves, with magic, comedy and enough audience noise to be heard from the car park. There are two other characters in the wardrobe: Mr Jamie Magician, a bit less colourful and a bit more magical, and Scallywag the Pirate, who runs pirate magic, treasure hunts and balloon swords. Twisted balloon creations get handed out after the show or made all through the event, and there's face painting, glitter tattoos, a large sculpture build and workshops in balloons or magic. He can MC your event too. Twenty plus years entertaining kids, ten of them running programs for The Y. He brings his own PA and wireless mic, and needs three metres square plus a shady spot for balloons.
