Born in Melbourne, raised across Hong Kong, Taiwan, New Zealand and Vietnam, and playing guitar since he was eight. Jan Taylor spent his teenage years gigging with an alt rock band in Vietnam, then moved back to Australia on his own in 2020, arriving just in time for lockdown. He spent all of it alone, working through as many styles and genres as he could get to. He now writes, plays and produces everything himself.
