JANDRUZE

Dance, drag, costume design and DJ work all sit within this multidisciplinary artist's practice, shaped by a background in contemporary dance that runs through every part of it. A decade in Australia's queer underground scene sits behind Jandruze's regular slots on Melbourne's club circuit, with Barba, Poof Doof and Honcho Disko among the recurring nights, plus touring work both within Australia and overseas for Yummy Productions. On the design side, credits include costume work for several other performers and companies, among them Tanzer and Holly Durant. Discordia, the Rising festival and Dark Mofo have also featured Jandruze's work, a spread that moves easily between performing and designing for other performers.
