Bluegrass one minute, funk the next, with folk and blues in between. Jane Germain has won five WA Country Music Awards, headlined Country Arts funded tours through regional WA, held a residency in Beijing awarded by the Australia China Council and represented Australia at the 2010 World Expo in China. Six albums recorded, plus steady session work on other people's projects. Live, she swaps between guitar, clawhammer banjo and voice depending on the song, which keeps a solo set moving. The covers run through Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, JJ Cale, Steve Miller Band, Paul Simon, Chris Isaak and The Band. Dreams, Big Yellow Taxi, The Joker, Ode to Billie Joe.
