He finished runner-up to Samantha Jade on the show and signed with Sony Music Australia soon after. His debut single, Make It Last, released in November 2012, reached number 47 on the ARIA Singles Chart, and the debut album that followed, Life Is A Highway, opened at number five on the ARIA Albums Chart in April 2013.
