Jazz and cocktail arrangements of pop and dance hits, which is a more interesting proposition than a straight standards set. The Jazz Merchants pair strong singers with sharp players, and the classic shape is a quartet of vocals, jazz guitar, double bass and saxophone. They also work as a duo, trio, quintet or larger depending on the room. The material runs from Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald through Michael Buble and Tony Bennett to Marvin Gaye and Barry White, so the band can carry a night from cocktail hour right through to the after party without repeating itself.
