Jazz Music Institute

The Jazz Music Institute is a Brisbane higher education provider specialising in jazz performance degrees, and its staff, students and alumni make up a good slice of Queensland's jazz players. Between them they've worked across the country and overseas. For events, JMI can put together anything from a solo player to an 18-piece big band, and roving acts or street parades if that's what the day calls for. Handy if you want jazz but haven't settled on the scale of it yet.
