About this act
Jazz 'n Swing cover six decades of jazz and swing, from the 1920s through to the 1980s, which is a lot of ground for one band. Lyn Shepherd handles sax, flute, clarinet and vocals, with Ian Bennett on guitar, Gerardo Perez on bass and David Fernandez on drums. It's a properly played repertoire rather than a nostalgia act, and it works as well over dinner as it does when people decide to dance.
