Jazzbird is a jazz singer from Adelaide, South Australia.
Wendy McPhee performs jazz standards from the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s as Jazzbird. She studied jazz at the University of Adelaide’s Elder School of Music. Her appearances have included Fleurieu Peninsula wineries, regional festivals and private functions, as well as a sold-out 2007 Adelaide Fringe performance with the Adelaide Jazz Trio. Earlier recognition includes the 1987 NZCMA Entertainer of the Year Award.
