JBART works Sunshine Coast clubs, weddings, corporate functions and private parties, reading the floor and mixing to keep it busy. Sound, lighting and DJ gear can all come along, or the in-house rig gets used instead. Beyond the decks, extras can be arranged: a live saxophone player over the set, or a videographer to cover the night. Away from the booth, JBART also runs an events company, building opportunities for emerging artists on the coast. Setup needs power and a covered two by two metre space, and takes 45 to 60 minutes, longer if the extras are in play.
