JD-E grew up in the underground house scenes of Tasmania and Melbourne, and the interest goes deeper than most: she's genuinely fascinated by how sound frequencies act on the body, and she builds playlists with that in mind. The sets travel through house and funk sub-genres with emotional intent rather than just tempo, drawing on producers local and international. Brisbane based.
