Jed Appleton

Touring began at sixteen for this Hobart-based nu-folk artist, who has since taken shows to Europe, the UK and right across Australia, often sharing the stage with Stu Larsen and appearing on line-ups alongside Passenger and The Wombats. Rhythmic guitar work and emotionally charged vocals carry a stage show built on intensity rather than polish. Over a hundred original songs have come from the pen so far, released across ten albums, with the latest, 'The Angel In You', drawing on personal struggle and growth. Jed Appleton is based in Hobart.
