Indie folk with a gypsy vintage edge to it. Jem Sparkles has been performing for years and writes melodies that tend to hold a room quiet, which is a rarer thing than it sounds. A new EP, Beautiful Life, has just been recorded. The live set changes constantly, so no two nights run the same way. Brisbane based, working across pubs, folk rooms and listening rooms. Needs a PA, microphone, monitor and space for a guitar set-up. Public and product indemnity insurance is held.
