Jen & Ryan Tate

Animal behaviour is the subject Jen & Ryan Tate speak on, drawing on experience at Taronga Zoo before the pair started their own business, Tate Animal Training Enterprises. Their work covers everything from puppy preschool through to training conservation and detection dogs, including koala detection work carried out during the 2020 Australian bushfires. Ryan holds a degree in Marine Biology alongside several dog training qualifications, while Jen has written and illustrated a children's book, Pouches Paws, Tails and Claws, and brings a background in wildlife care and puppy development to the pair's talks. Based in Port Macquarie, the two speak on making sound choices around dog breeds and breeders as well as their own training work.
