About this act
Eight years of touring around Australia has given JJ a style rooted in the acoustic blues strummers of the American South, with songs about love, loss and a bit of debauchery. It's a specific thing rather than a general covers set, which makes it a better fit for some rooms than others. The festival list backs it up: Gympie Muster, Tamworth Country, Echuca Blues, Goulburn Blues, Wangaratta Jazz, Docklands Blues, the Barwon Heads and Warrandyte festivals, Inverloch Jazz, Eltham Jazz and Wine, and Bluestone.
