Joe Cocker spent five decades making that ragged blues voice work on stage, and this Melbourne show sets out to bring the experience back rather than just cover the songs. The likeness is close enough that it caught Cocker's own attention, and the lead singer met him several times in Australia and overseas. The set spans the whole run, from The Letter through You Are So Beautiful and Leave Your Hat On to the material from his final tour. The stage presentation matters here as much as the singing, which is fair, because with Cocker it always did.
