Joel Howlett represented Australia at Disney World Florida for the Millennium Dreamers Awards, and appeared as featured guest artist in the Stars of Tomorrow show at Las Vegas's Riviera Hotel. Australian credits include a featured slot on the Gala Show at the Adelaide Magic Convention, where he won both the Junior Close-Up and Open Stage competitions, a guest appearance at the Australian Centenary Magic Convention, and a special guest spot in the World Festival of Magic show. His career has been the subject of an award-winning documentary and the inspiration for a track on Young Australian's Voices of Achievement, a CD produced for the Sing NSW Choir and the Department of Education. He is also included in Deceptions Down Under, a book published for the hundredth anniversary of Australian magic.
