Johnny Law & The Pistol Packin' Daddies

Classic rockabilly with swing underneath it, catchy ballads, and the odd Mexican flavour creeping in. Johnny Law & The Pistol Packin' Daddies work as a four piece, or trim down to three when the stage or the budget is tight. The set list runs through Elvis, Fats Domino, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran and Bill Haley, plus a handful of 1980s songs rebuilt in the old style, which usually catches people out. Sets run 45 minutes each, one to three of them. They can bring their own small PA. Watch for the Dick Dale style solo. It happens once a night and once only. Based in Perth, and Johnny also works the east coast with a Sydney backing band as Johnny Law & The Wandering Stars.
